Uses of Surface Treatment
For scattering on recently cast concrete, or lately exposed
concrete shells after junking of form work, to form a
temporary membrane which will retain sufficient moisture
for effective curing to take place.

Used for concreting
generally but especially useful for large areas of concrete
analogous as pavements, runways and ground sundecks; also for
vertical or leaning shells as on halls, chimneys, conduit
paddings, columns and shafts, where water curing is delicate
or unreliable.

Description of  Surface Treatment

Concure WB is a white, low density wax conflation which incorporates a special alkali reactive conflation breaking system. This system ensures that the conflation breaks down to form a non piercing nonstop film incontinently upon contact with a cementitious face.

This impervious film prevents inordinate water evaporation which in turn permits more effective cement hydration, therefore reducing loss and adding continuity. Once formed, the membrane will remain on the concrete face until ultimately broken down and eroded by natural weathering. Where it’s needed to apply a farther treatment to similar concrete face, it may be necessary to remove the membrane remaining after curing by line brushing or other mechanical means.

Packaging
Concure WB is available in 5,20 and 200 litre drums.
Storage

Concure WB has a shelf life of 6 months when stored at
temperatures between 50
C and 350

C. Containers should be
kept airtight to prevent surface evaporation. Freezing or
prolonged exposure to direct heat or sunlight must be
avoided.

Precautions

Health & Safety instructions
Concure WB is non toxic. It is advisable to wear goggles
when spraying. Inhalation of the spray should similarly be
avoided. Should skin contact with the compound occur it
shall be washed with clean water and a skin conditioning
cream shall be applied.

If Concure WB comes into contact
with eyes it shall be washed with clean water. If irritation
persists, immediate medical attention shall be sought. If the
compound is swallowed, vomiting should not be induced
but medical assistance shall be obtained immediately
