Technical Composition

• Component A: Polymer-rich liquid resin

• Component B: Cementitious powder blend

When mixed on-site in a prescribed ratio, these components create a brushable or rollable slurry that cures into an elastic, waterproof membrane.

Mixing and Application

1. Clean the substrate thoroughly to remove dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants.

2. Pre-wet the surface but ensure no standing water remains.

3. Mix Component A and Component B in the recommended ratio using a mechanical stirrer until a lump-free, uniform mixture is achieved.

4. Apply the first coat with a brush, roller, or trowel.

5. Allow it to dry for 6–8 hours before applying the second coat perpendicular to the first.

6. Ensure a minimum total dry film thickness of 1.5 mm is achieved for optimal waterproofing performance.

7. Allow 48 hours curing time before subjecting the surface to water or further finishing.

Coverage
Approximately 1.5–2.0 kg/m² for two coats, depending on the substrate’s porosity and surface profile.

Storage and Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Unopened packs have a shelf life of 12 months.

Acqualastic 2K is available in combo packs:

• Component A:  1kg liquid polymer

• Component B:  5kg cementitious powder

Precautions

• Do not apply when ambient temperature is below 5°C or above 40°C.

• Avoid application on wet or waterlogged surfaces.

• Ensure adequate surface preparation for best adhesion.
